In fall of 2008, PSA leaders established a Leadership Council comprised of stakeholders in the proposed project from several organizations and agencies in Phelps County, including:
- Holdrege Public Schools
- Holdrege Area Chamber of Commerce
- Phelps County Development Corporation
- YMCA of the Prairie
- Holdrege Legion Baseball Club
- Phelps County Community Foundation
- Phelps Memorial Health Center
- City of Holdrege
- Holdrege Tennis Association
- Holdrege Optimist Club
The role of the Leadership Council is to provide support and direction to PSA leaders as they move forward with plans for the new complex. Collaboration from several community leaders will enable PSA to maximize the impact and benefits of the new complex for everyone in Holdrege and surrounding communities.
