OPPORTUNITIES

PSA leaders plan to develop a new sports complex on land granted by the Phelps County Community Foundation. The new complex will address the growing needs of the community and sports programs in the area by providing the following:

  • Four softball/baseball fields, two regulation-sized soccer fields, and several small-sided game fields for a variety of age groups, a concession area, and watering and lighting systems.
  • Fields with proper drainage and infield materials that can accommodate a wide range of age groups with specific needs.
  • Space for parking and potential future expansion as programs continue to develop.

The new complex is estimated to cost $2.5 million. The project will be completed in two phases. PSA needs the help and financial support of individuals, businesses and foundations in Holdrege and surrounding areas.
